Another Astoria Music Collective mic, the songwriters open mic at Shillelagh Tavern is a great place to try out a song in progress, debut a new song, or dust off an old classic.

Like the other AMC mic, there are quite a few regulars, but the list doesn't get too crowded, and they go through it surprisingly fast for how much time they give you.

In general, the audience is very patient and forgiving and eager to hear your latest tune. There are a few non-musicians who have made themselves regulars too, but the bulk of the time is music.
